Paula Owen

Paula Owen is a Clinical Psychotherapist, Remedial Massage Therapist, Pre Natal & Post Natal Massage Therapist & Herbalist in private practice at The Psychology & Psychotherapy Hub in Katoomba, Blue Mountains. 

The clinic is located in the town centre, above the Upper Mountains Medical Centre & across the road from Katoomba train station. 

Paula has worked in private practice as a Remedial Massage therapist for 29 years, as a Pre Natal & Post Natal Massage therapist for 23 years and as a Clinical Psychotherapist for 15 years. She also worked part time for 8 years as a student Counsellor at Torrens University at Leura and Sydney campus. 
She has also run Therapy Groups on Improving Self Esteem.



She is also a Psychotherapist and team member at Blue Mountains Counselling Centre.

Professional Development

Paula attends regular Professional Development seminars each year, to expand her knowledge & skills. She also writes and presents a Clinical Paper annually at the Institute of Clinical Psychotherapy.

Paula also continues her professional development in the areas of Herbal Medicine, Naturopathic Health & Therapeutic Massage. 
In addition, Paula has taught workshops to massage therapists on massage techniques, including safe massage techniques for pre-& post-natal pregnant women. She has trained and co taught in Hawaiian massage both in Sydney & Hawaii.
